A mother of three is accused of selling meth out of a hotel room in Prescott Valley, Arizona, authorities said.
Jessica Dennis, 23, allegedly sold drugs to undercover detectives at America's Best Value Inn in Prescott Valley and at a surrounding area, according to a Yavapai County Sheriff's Office news release.
Dennis, who was suspected of leaving the area to purchase more meth, was stopped on U.S. 69 late Friday as she drove back into Prescott Valley, Arizon with a passenger, Randall Port, 26.
A search of Dennis' Kia led to the discovery of 44 grams of meth in a compartment in the driver's side door, authorities said. Dennis was also carrying several hundred dollars.
Dennis was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, use of electronic communication in drug-related transaction, and possession of dangerous drugs, authorities said.
Port was also arrested and charged with two counts of felony drug-paraphernalia possession.
Both were booked into the Camp Verde detention center and remain in custody. Dennis is being held on $75,000 bond and Port on $10,000 bond, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said.
Dennis has custody of two of her three children, a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old, authorities said. Both children were at a babysitter's home in the area at the time of their mother's arrest.
Child Protective Services workers were alerted and are investigating, the news release said.
